I ordered 24 sugar-free cherry jello from Amazon yesterday. It was $32.20 but using the Subscribe and Save option I saved 15% or $4.85 and got free shipping. That comes out to about $1.14/each for the large size of jello. That's .02/c more than Walmart. I used gift cards I got from Swagbucks so they were free. For some reason the other flavors were more expensive. I would have ordered rasberry, but I will get it from Walmart.
Today I did a check on Epson ink for my new printer using pricegrabber and they said it was cheapest at Amazon. I checked Staples were I normally buy, but Amazon was almost 50% cheaper. I got 4 cartridges for $20.49 vs almost $39 at Staples. I ordered 2 sets and only paid $3.99 in shipping. Even though I would get 10% cash back at Staples and wouldn't have to pay shipping it's still much cheaper to order from Amazon.
I did some shopping at Walmart yesterday and 2 free Life Choice cereal bars that I will give to my nieces. I got one tube of Vaseline lotion for free for me. And I got a bag of 60 ct Arm and Hammer Toss N' One laundry detergent. They had a try me free rebate sticker on them. I sent in the rebate and will give the detergent to my oldest niece.
I did a price match on Nature Made vitamin D 1000 iu 100 ct. Target had it for $3 and I had a $3/2 coupon. I got 2 bottles for $1.50 each. I entered the codes on the Nature Made wellness site and have enough to cash in for another $7 coupon.
I got my metformin prescription refilled at Walmart and the price has tripled their too. It's gone up everywhere at the first of the year. It's a fairly cheap drug that almost everyone with diabetes is on. It's been around for over 20 years. I don't know why the price has tripled.
I finished reading the library book Copper Beach by Jayne Ann Krentz. Romance/mystery - good.
