I decided on the following goals for 2012
Keep grocery expenses under $200/month. This category includes cleaning, paper, personal care and pharmacy.
However it doesn't include vitamins or supplements because that is goal #2
Track what I'm spending on vitamins and supplements.
Create a new price book
Take a trip to Maine in the fall for less than $1500
Get a new computer for $300 - $350
Track the stuff I get for free. This is just out of curiousity.
Get A1c below 5.5
Lose 30 lbs
Do resistance training 3 x's week
Try 3 new receipes per month
That's it.
I got 2 free Smart protein bars at Walgreens this morning and then used the RRs from them to buy 8 cans of mushrooms @ .59c/can.
At King Soopers I got a Luna bar for free. All the bars will be donated to the food pantry. I also got tomatoes, garlic, celery, a large portobello mushroom, and 2 bunches of radishes. Spent a little over $5. I had another portobello mushroom pizza for lunch.
I had my $10 bonus card that I got for buying a $50 GC at Staples last month. They had 16 big rolls of Charmin TP on sale from $9.99 to $5.99. I had 2 .25 coupons and I used my $10 card to buy 2 packages. 1 package was free and I only spent $2.43 on the other one after the bonus card and coupons. .08c/roll.
I finished reading my book Atlas Shrugged. Not sure what category to call it but it was excellent. One of my favorite books because it celebrates man's achievments and his mind.
