I took my youngest niece to see The Thing yesterday. Very gory movie. It was good, but I liked the first version better with Kurt Russell. Spent $13.50

We went to SmashBurger for dinner afterwards. She had never been. She loved it. I wanted the fried so bad. That's the first time in awhile I've had a craving for anything not allowed. I managed to resist, but it was difficult. Spent $15.24

I got a really good sample pack in the mail today. It came in a makeup bag, that I'll five to one of my nieces. It also came with $29 in Target coupons.

I also got a package of $70 in P&G coupons

I finished reading the library book Darknesses by L.E. Modesitt Jr. Sci/Fi - very good.

    Did you watch through the credits? We loved how they ended this movie with two men in a helicopter chasing and shooting at the "dog". It was nearly a seamless prequel!

    I did, I thought that was great too. I told my niece that was the beginning of the original movie
