This was an interesting blog from a guy who politicians call the 'Super Rich' - making more than $250,000 a year. Even more interesting is the comments section.

It definitly shows the diversity of thinking about taxes and the rich.
Here's the WSJ's response to the post

I finished reading my book Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs. Paranormal - very good.

1. No matter where the cutoff is (100K, 250K, 400K, 1M, etc) somebody somewhere at the low end of the cutoff is going to argue that it will sink them. And they are right - it will sink them because they've learned to spend at whatever limit they have.
2. I was fascinated that the WSJ took the position that they did - I didn't think they would go the you-are-overspending-get-a-budget route. I figured ol' Rupert Murdoch would have some sympathy for the blogger.
3. People have always been hateful - people have fought a class war like this even more vigorously (and with better grammar and spelling) back in the Great Depression. What I wish for is that it should be harder to be hateful. Right now one can spew all sorts of crap either anonymously or undercover of an avatar or handle. If people have to actually have the cojones to sign their name to hate, perhaps knowledge can occur.
