It's been chilly this week. It rained very hard for awhile this afternoon and the temperature got down to 50. I actually had to dig out my coat for my walk. I was okay with my sweat pants on this evening, but it won't be too long till the furnace will have to be turned on again. I hope to put it off as long as possible. I'm sure this will be another year when gas prices hike up. Last year had a 30% hike, wonder how much is will be this year.

I got my phone/internet bill today. I use Qwest. Every month this bill pi$$e$ me off. It's not the amount of the bill it's all the little extra taxes and fees they add on. My base bill for phone/DSL is $39.87 but they add $12.40 in fees/taxes. That's 31%. What other industry can charge you 31% in taxes? And when they quote you figures for service they never tell you how much they will tack on in extras.
