50 million interuptions and counting

April 25th, 2006 at 03:16 am

we had a small snow storm and it was cold today so no walking.

I could not believe this day at work. I feel like I had 50 million interruptions. First one way, then another way, then on to something else and most of it was a total waste of time. I felt so frazzled by the end of the day and don't feel like I got anything accomplished.

But since I didn't walk the evening felt longer and I was able to relax and enjoy it.

Finished reading the library book Prior Bad Acts by Tami Hoag. Mystery. Very good. Also read two of the Money magazines I picked up at the library.

What part of the country do you live in that it snowed?

We had a gorgeous day here in Oregon.

I remember well the days of interruptions...so many of them I felt like I got nowhere...my office seemed to be the destination for too many co-workers! (Do you have an office with a door????If so, shutting it might help...add a "Do Not Disturb" sign....???

I hope tomorrow is a better one!

I live in Colorado. I work from home so no office door. It wouldn't matter, they contact me by phone, IM and Email. There's no escape Smile

i know exactly what you mean... i try to avoid ppl. that take up alot of my time anymore.. i have enough interruptions with family and business ppl. and the older i become, the more it increases it seems.. i just try to let go of it.. but, it is always there, slackers on my time. best of luck.
